Julian Baring Scholarship Fund Dinner at Goldsmiths’ Hall, London, November 2012
A highly successful fund raising dinner was held at Goldsmiths’ Hall with many of the leading corporate figures in the world mining sector attending and taking part in an auction of 12 lots. The dinner raised around £80,000 for the Scholarship Fund.

Randgold Resources chief executive Mark Bristow recently departed on a 6 500 mile (10 500 kilometre), six-man expedition from Bagshot, England, to Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on specially modified Yamaha motorbikes.
