In 2005 Justin Baring, Jamie Strauss, Charlie Davies Gilbert, Jo Wakeley set off from Winchester to walk the South Downs Way. Covering 140km over two and a half days, the team (having been joined by many supporters on the way) arrived at The Tiger Inn at East Dean, just 1 mile from Beachy Head in East Sussex met by flag carrying and cheering members of their families.

The walk helped raise funds for The Julian Baring Scholarship and was even mentioned in the local Sussex newspapers.
