“Whilst at Rhodes during the course of 2013, I was immersed in an environment that stimulated and challenged both my intellectual and practical abilities in the field of exploration geology. The course programme was intensive with various learned professionals teaching us and exposing us to different mineral deposit settings and rocks through field trips. I believe the experience has taught me to better identify, organize, coordinate, analyse and solve problems we may come across in the field whilst conducting our everyday business in an excellent manner. Furthermore, my research project on Gold mineralisation at Masumbi Au-Cu Prospect in West Kenya focusing on the implication for gold exploration in the Archaean Ndori Greenstone Belt of Kenya has developed in me a strong attention to detail, first rate writing ability as well as exceptional presentation skills coupled with interpersonal skills from working on multiple group projects.”
